This Management Education PhD specialization provides opportunities for deep analysis and research in management theories and principles, along with skill development in advanced teaching techniques, including course design, learning theory, and classroom assessment. It is one of the few doctoral programs available that focuses specifically on preparing business and management experts to teach at the postsecondary level. As part of this specialization, you may apply for and receive a Post-Master’s Certificate in College Teaching from Capella, as well as your PhD. People who choose this specialization are often business professionals preparing to become postsecondary business educators or postsecondary business instructors seeking advancement.
